I am a first time cat owner, my cats name is Sushi! She has been amazingly well taken care of by the staff every time she has been, even an overnight stay she was so happy there! The staff is amazing at updating the client with how their pet is doing as well as checking in after the pet has left the clinic! I don’t know how to thank the staff enough for taking care of my cat as if she were their own. Extremely responsible prices and everyone is so friendly and complimentary of the pets! I would recommend this vet to anyone and everyone, they do a fabulous job at a reasonable price, which is so awesome. Sushi even comes back from the vet happy and playful as if she didn’t mind at all!! My cat is my child and the fact that I trust them with her is huge, she loves all the staff as much as I do!

I cannot sing the praises of this vet enough. I have a dog that gets a bit sketched out and they are working with him to make him comfortable. We schedule 'happy' visits where he gets nothing but treats, love and praise so that it is going to be a place he is excited to go to. My other two are great at the vet but they still take so much care to make them feel safe and secure.

Best vet in College Station. We’ve been taking our family pets since the 80’s and will never go anywhere else.

We recently moved here from East Texas in which we left a WONDERFUL kind vet. We were nervous to find someone who could cater to our dog's anxiousness and hesitation to nail trims etc. My boyfriend took our dog to his appointment and he spoke highly of the visit. He said the vet who handled our boy was kind and gentle and that our dog willingly went with her and had a blast. They took care of our pup in a great manner. I highly recommend this place for anyone's baby!

I LOVE bringing my puppies here. Their puppy package is a great deal and the staff are incredibly nice. I will always bring my dogs here until I move.

Amazing Vets and staff! I've been taking my dogs to be treated by Dr. Bay for over 10 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

We’ve been seeing Dr. Swartz at Van Stavern for about 3 years now. He sees our 9 year old Deer Head Chihuahua and our 7 month old Siberian Husky. They have single-handedly saved my chihuahua’s life twice, once when she had a severe bacterial infection, so severe that some outside people would suggest the possibility of putting her down, but with the amazing care and support from Van Stavern she recovered. Second time was when she had early mammary cancer (spay & neuter you pups!), both times they treated her and us with undivided attention and genuine care & concern. Now our new puppy Maya is a patient of theirs and I wouldn't ever consider taking my dogs anywhere else for the rest of my residency here in College Station. It's going to be sad when we do move and have to find a new Doctor for them. Anyway, these are great people who you can trust and truly care about their patients. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! <3

My 8-year old canine managed to break her canine tooth on a bone and I was in College Station for school. I had no local vet, besides our hometown vet, and freaked out due to the exposure of pulp, thus I needed a vet THAT week. Not only did Van Stavern take care of my little one, they kept me calm and updated through the entire process. The entire staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and polite. In addition to the amazing care my pup received, I was also sent home with a full page work up of her procedure, take home care, a summary of her stay, and other comments directly from the doctor. I appreciate all this vet facility has done for my canine and me. 100% recommend anyone in need of a Bryan/College Station vet!

Everyone here is so great and patient with our feisty cat. You can tell they genuinely care about the patient like they are their own pets.
